What's your favorite episode of One Tree Hill so far?
My favorite episode of One Tree Hill is definitely the boy draft
episode! All of the cheerleaders were involved in that one and we had a
ball working and playing together. Over the past three years these girls
have become some of my best friends and anytime I doubt myself they are
always there to push me and remind me of what we are all capable of.
If you weren't an actress, what would you want to be?
If I was not an actress I think would want to be a dentist! I know it is
a little random! A smile is a window into someones heart and it should
be something we are all proud of. I would love to help people perserve
that!
What's your favorite thing to do when you aren't working?
When I am not working I love, more than anything, to be with my dog.I
love to take her for walks, play "ball" with her at the sound, and nap
by the fireplace. She is a three year old labrador retriever and she
holds my heart. No matter what kind of day I have she is always there at
the door waiting for me with enthusiasm. She is the definition of honest
love.
What TV shows (Other than One Tree Hill of course) do you like to
watch?
I love to watch Lost and Grey's Anatomy, I think I cry during both every
week! I am a little embarrassed to tell you this but I live for American
Idol!
What's your favorite thing about your character "Bevin"?
My favorite thing about Bevin is her need for fun! She is always looking
for a good time and nothing gets her down. Maybe it because she is
confused most of the time...ha, but she is always smiling!
Favorite color? (We've actually been asked this one A LOT)
My favorite color is purple. It is a passionate and strong color; it
inspires me.
What advice would you give young girls who want to act or pursue an
acting career?
My mother always told me you will most likely hear 100 no's before you
hear one yes...do not give up. Embrace who you are, do not try to fit
into a mold, or compromise yourself to get a part. If you are your unique
self, people will take notice. Also if you want it, you have to work
harder each day, each time you go to an audition and each time you step
on set. Most of all love the journey not the destination.
What's your favorite sport?
My favorite sport is snow skiing! I love the way the cold air feels on my
face as I race down a mountain and I love the way my feet feel by the fire
at the end of the day!
Who is your favorite singer/band?
My favorite band is Coldplay! Sophia took Lee Norris and I to a show in
Raleigh for our birthdays and it was the most beautiful and honest live
show I have ever seen!
How has acting affected your life? (This ones from Zoe)
Acting has given me a way to surface the emotions I have hidden deep
inside me! It has made me a stronger and more confident person. People
will tell you, "you are not pretty enough" or "good enough" and I used
to believe it. I learned to not worry about what everyone else thinks
but to just enjoy what I do, give it all I have, and be proud of myself.
